Rais Samia Atangaza Ongezeko la Mshahara kwa Asilimia 35.1

Katika kilele cha Maadhimisho ya Siku ya Wafanyakazi Duniani (Mei Mosi) yaliyofanyika leo mkoani Singida, Rais wa Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania, Mhe. Samia Suluhu Hassan, ametangaza habari njema kwa watumishi wa umma nchini.
Katika hotuba yake, Rais Samia amewapongeza wafanyakazi kwa kujituma na kuunga mkono juhudi za serikali, hatua iliyosaidia uchumi wa taifa kukua kwa asilimia 5.5 mwaka huu.
“Sasa kwa mapenzi makubwa na kwa namna mlivyoiunga mkono serikali tulipowaomba mfunge mkanda na mkaamua kujituma na kufanya kazi kwa bidii na mkafanya uchumi wetu ukue... Kwakuwa mcheza kwao hutunzwa,” alisema Rais Samia.
Rais ametangaza kuwa kuanzia Julai 2025, serikali itaongeza kima cha chini cha mshahara kwa watumishi wa umma kwa asilimia 35.1.
Kima cha chini kitaongezeka kutoka TSh 370,000 hadi TSh 500,000, huku ngazi nyingine za mishahara zikipanda kulingana na bajeti ya serikali.
Hatua hii ni ishara ya kuthamini mchango wa wafanyakazi na inalenga kuboresha maisha yao kwa ujumla.
President Samia Announces 35.1% Salary Increase for Public Servants

During the climax of the International Workers’ Day (May Day) celebrations held in Singida Region, the President of Tanzania, H.E. Samia Suluhu Hassan, delivered exciting news to public servants.
In her speech, she praised workers for their dedication and support, which helped grow the national economy by 5.5% this year.
“With great love and the way you supported the government when we asked you to tighten your belts — you chose to work hard and helped grow our economy... And as they say, a dancer is rewarded best at home,” said President Samia.
President Samia announced that starting July 2025, the government will increase the minimum wage for public servants by 35.1%.
The new minimum wage will rise from TSh 370,000 to TSh 500,000, with other pay grades also receiving increases based on the national budget.
This move recognizes the contribution of public servants and aims to improve their quality of life.
